From us to all of you.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Bliz-atch Be-atch!

Almost 3 feet of the white stuff came down Saturday night, burying NJ in a blanket of frustration and inconveniencing homeless people throughout the State. Personally, I love the snow. I guess this is my Canadian side coming out and has nothing to do with wearing bulky clothes to hide my fat. My girls had a great time in the snow. School was cancelled Monday which means I will come home to Karen about to drown the kids in the bath tub. Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

Fw: Take That To The Bank

Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry From: "Geri oliverie" <fdgerio@comcast.net> Date: Wed, 16 Dec 2009 14:42:19 -0500 To: <csknoll74@gmail.com> Subject: Take That To The Bank You know the old addage "The only stupid question is the one not asked"? Time and time again I find myself avoiding the need to ask basic, fundamental questions about things, and it is this lack of initiative that has left me astounded by the claim made in a new book I am reading.  One question I never asked was "What is money based on?" To my horror, I have learned that the "U.S. Dollar" is pegged to NOTHING! We came off the gold standard decades ago (begun under FDR and finalized under Nixon), so now we have 'notes of legal tender' issued by the Federal Reserve (a private institution, not a government agency....think FEDEX) that are backed up by our Government's promise to repay the debt issued to created the currency. Go

It's that time of year again....

Well, another Christmas is upon us and it finds me, as usual, unprepared. I have not done one bit of shopping yet. Oh well, nothing like the suspense of last minute panic shopping. This year my Dad and Sharon are coming down from Canada. We cannot wait to see them. It has been 2 years. I hope this post finds everyone doing well. Take care and have a great Christmas.

Drama Queen

Cattie has joined, by her own will, a drama club at school. I am so proud of her for doing this, but I wish it wasn't in acting. To me, actors and Hollywood are vile, useless byproducts of society. Am I being too harsh?
